  • Nope! My intro classes are designed for complete beginners. All you need is comfy clothes, sneakers, and an open mind.

  • Intro classes → Perfect if you’re brand new or want to refine your fundamentals. We focus on just 2 eight-counts so you can master key moves and learn how to connect them.

    • Intro to shuffling: running man, t-step, rocking, glides, spins, and groovy steps

    • Intro to shapes: quick footwork, kicks, hops, and twists

    Beginner Classes → This class builds directly off of the previous intro class. This is perfect if you already know the basics and are ready to level up. We will be incorporating the hybrid style combing shuffle and cutting shapes. Learning how to blend the two for a dynamic and well-rounded flow. Each class covers four eight-counts giving you more moves to learn and memorize while still keeping it approachable.

    Combo Classes (Intro + Beginner/Intermediate) → A hybrid style blending shuffle and cutting shapes. Great for learning how to combine both into smooth combos.

  • November classes are held at Ripley-Grier studios at 520 8th Ave in Manhattan.
